Contort is a fun program for distorting pictures and producing surreal effects. Try it with a close-up portrait of a friend or family member.

The contorting of the image takes place in selectable rectangular zones, which can be sized and positioned. Contorting here means explosion, implosion, nudging and twisting, using a 'stretchable rubber mat' principle.

Features include contrast/brightness/gamma adjustments, rotation and blushing (not airbrushing), merging of pictures, and pixel shuffling and 'recursion' to produce echoing effects.

Other features include the introduction of portion-merging, real time viewing when selecting merge options, extra merge options and sliders, new flip button, start up tip and background, faster picture capture, and the ability to e-mail images.
