PC Door Guard is a professional trojan remover package that combines a number of tests to detect malicious code and to effectively fight trojans. Two utilities constantly monitor the 'doors' which can be used by a trojan to get into your PC. An advanced scanner with a scheduler runs a comprehensive test to check for trojans already residing in the PC. The program checks the actual memory of the computer, looking for backdoors, trojans and viruses. PDG uses an extensive trojan definitions database (more than 2300 titles and constantly updating), including their windows and processes - this allows detection of stealth-trojans (which cannot be detected the common way), phantom trojans (self-modifying) and many others. The built-in cure utility is of great help if you have already executed a trojan and do not know how to act.
