Sweeper sweeps your files for potentially dangerous programming calls (APIs) and accurately classifies and rates your binaries according to such classes as Internet Server, Client, Firewall Evader and Snooper.

The program does not depend on signatures as standard AV does, but looks at the code itself to find undiscovered virus, trojans, and spyware within your system. Sweeper is easy to use for beginners, and comprehensive for professionals. It is not only functional as a state of the art heuristic anti-virus, but is also a powerful file analysis tool.

Sweeper conveniently breaks down your applications into categories. For instance, applications that have Internet server capabilities might be found very quickly, and likewise, applications which have the ability to delete files. The program has 20 categories and 210+ APIs which it currently scans for.

Sweeper is not designed to replace your anti-virus, but it is designed to provide you with the ability to search your files and analyze them according to dangerous calls.
