InSciTE is a powerful source code editor, with support for over 30 programming languages, along with several dialects.

Built around the well-known Scintilla edit control, InSciTE offers syntax highlighting, symbol and keyword completion, and calltips (not yet available for all the supported languages).

It supports very large and complex projects through its integration with the CMake cross-platform make format. It also contains an Explorer window, to facilitate file manipulation from within the IDE.

Almost everything in InSciTE is configurable. The translators associated with a certain type of files can be set on a file pattern basis, or by creating custom projects.
